Home Office Upgrade

Happy Monday morning! While we drive back home to Florida I wanted to share with you our home office upgrade!

Overall, I felt the design and decor of the home office didn’t really represent my style and match the aesthetic of the rest of the home. We also had to move multiple items from the guest bedroom into the office to make room for the nursery, so I had pieces I had to find a new home for, and saw it as the perfect opportunity to refresh and upgrade the office.

Here are the before pictures of the home office:

While I still feel I have a long way to go in “nailing'“ my home designs, I slowly feel each room design gets better and better. This home taught me a ton about what I love and what I don’t. I realized how much I love white walls so my furniture and rugs can be bright pops of color. Plus, adding plants is never a bad decision :)

More about the pieces:

The desk is from Ikea.

Chair from World Market.

“No one is you and that is your power” print is from Society 6.

Dresser is a family hand-me-down that I painted berry.

Triangle shelf made from Nick :)

Bookshelf is a really, really old one from Target I painted white.

Macrame is from this local artist.

Futon is from Amazon.
