Welcome to Victoria Myers blog! VM is your women’s wellness blog, free of diet culture and body shaming. Think of this as your safe space to pursue period recovery, intuitive eating and wellness without obsession.
Here’s what our students who enrolled in Food & Body Playbook had to say about the program and community received:
“I purchased [FBPP} because I have been following the work of Nourishing Minds Nutrition for some time, and this offer seemed like the perfect way to dive into IE more fully alongside a group of women doing the same. It felt the like the perfect (and affordable!) way to educate myself more about IE. I am so grateful for all that I learned, and for the validating environment of the group. This course helped me better understand and uncover the ways diet culture gets in the way of the freedom IE offers. It also helped me feel validated and affirmed in my own journey - helping me connect my own struggles with body image and disordered eating to this larger, pervasive diet culture. I left this course feeling like I have the tools I need to continue this journey of IE. I am so grateful, and really can’t recommend this course highly enough! THANK YOU for creating such an intentional and safe space to do this work. Thank you for showing up for us, cheering us on, and gracing is with your own stories and insight!”

“[FBPP] was such a beautiful way to connect and grow with other women. It's amazing how many of the challenges and narratives I have in my mind are the same narratives and "inner mean girl" that others have. The support from Nourishing Minds Nutrition was invaluable, so genuine and helped reframe many of my thoughts and perspectives. I'm so grateful for this opportunity!”

“I purchased [FBPP] because I knew it was the right time in my life to truly change my habits, change the way I felt about myself and how I thought about food. After 15+ years of diets, yo-yo diets, binge & restricting behaviors, I was eager to become an intuitive eater but knew i needed the tools and support to do so. I am now more in tune with my mind and body, am finally starting to feel love for me just as I am and losing the desire to constantly change my body. I understand the intuitive eating principals and how to apply them to my life - i understand this is a lifelong journey but I finally feel as though I have the tools to truly take it on!”

“I purchased [FBPP] to dive more deeply into the world of mindful and intuitive eating. I have always been passionate about wellness but it wasn't until I got my certification as a health coach that I even heard of mindful and intuitive eating. Something just clicked and I wanted to learn more for myself and to better help my clients. FBPP is a great resource for those interested in exploring what intuitive eating could mean for their lives and begin steps to put it into action. The community (and teachers) are warm and encouraging throughout, no matter where you are starting from!”

“The [FBPP] has been wonderful, encouraging, and informative. I highly recommend for anyone striving to distance themselves from diet culture and wanting to have a stronger mind, body, and spirit connection. Victoria balances being direct with compassion, support, and empathy. She includes a varieties of resources and accountability supports. It will be invaluable as I integrate some of the knowledge learned into my own work with clients struggling with body image, restriction, and binge-eating as well as exercise compulsion and other distorted food/exercise behaviors. You will not be disappointed.”

“I purchased [FBPP] because I had heard a lot about intuitive eating but it was a little disjointed. From what I had learned, I new that this aligned with my goals and values so I went for it and I’m so glad I did. Intuitive eating is the sustainable “eating plan” I’ve been looking for for years! It is so wonderful to have language to use around food and anti-dieting. Victoria and the team was amazing throughout this journey. They were very active in the Facebook group and made sure to answer all questions in our weekly calls. This was worth every penny and I look forward to going back through the modules again at different points of my journey. This has truly been life changing!”

“I had come to the point in my life where dieting, body shaming, constantly judging myself based on my weight and excessive exercising were keeping me from living a full, peaceful life. I found Victoria through Instagram and after listening to her description of [FBPP], I knew this was the program that would help me to have a better understanding of what intuitive eating was all about. Victoria is a positive and inspiring woman. Her program not only helped me start to heal my relationship with food, but I also was able to look inward at my life goals, values and priorities. When I started FBPP, I was feeling helpless and alone. Between the wonderful video presentations, the worksheets, the Facebook group and the weekly online coaching sessions, I found that I was not alone. The support was so encouraging. My journey is not over but through FBPP and Victoria’s guidance, I am on my way to living a life where I accept and love my body and eat food for pleasure and without fear.”

“I've been following Victoria since the Nourishing Women Podcast came out in 2017. At that time, I was entering my first year of college and didn't have the financial means to work with her one on one. Fast forward to 2020, my readiness for change from my previous orthorexic tendencies sky rocketed and at the same time Victoria and her team created this budget friendly course. [FBPP] gave me the tools, education, and PERMISSION to live life to my fullest- free of the clutches of diet culture. It also provided me a community of like-minded women to walk alongside on our journey to become intuitive eaters.”

“Disordered behavior around food and movement isn’t new for me, and when the pandemic landed us at home 7 months before my wedding, I was in a time of crisis. I knew I needed the tools and the support to remind me why I couldn’t go back down the same road I’d travelled down time and time again only to end up back in the same spot. I decided I was done with the negative energy that my detrimental self talk and behaviors around food and movement brought about and I was ready to start living and savoring my life. Legit (not making this up...I believe the timing was a sign) as soon as I decided this is what I wanted to do, I heard Victoria mention [FBPP] on an Instagram story. HANDS DOWN, best decision I’ve made for myself (mental health, physical health, happiness in general...the list goes on) in a very long time. The experience provided me access to bonus content and more tools for my IE “tool box”, but most importantly it gave me access to a community of women that were my true support in a time when I needed it most. This was an unbelievable, irreplaceable experience for me and I could not recommend it more!”

“I had problems with food since I was 12-13 years old and I really though I was going to live with that my whole life, but then I got in to [FBPP} and I'm finally able to listen to my body, eat what my body wants and to exercise cause it makes me feel good not because I want to burn all the calories I ate. I stopped counting calories, I'm able to focus on my goals and to enjoy when I go out to eat.”

“After listening to the Nourishing Women Podcast, I knew that [FBPP] would be something that would help me to heal my relationship with food and my body. These weeks have completely changed my outlook on exercise and nutrition and I finally feel in tune with my body, honoring what it wants and craves, and learning to love it! I cannot thank Victoria enough for everything as this truly has changed my life for the better! Farewell diets!”

“I have been struggling with disordered eating for three years now. My every decision and thought revolves around food and exercise. Nothing I did seemed right or enough. Finally, I wanted to take back my life. I want to be able to enjoy the company I am with, to be present. I wanted to discover what life could be like free from food obsession. I had never before heard of intuitive eating and I wanted to take a chance for myself to explore what this might do for me. I was surprised beyond expectations! The women I worked with and the team at Nourishing Minds Nutrition opened my eyes to what living in food freedom can be like. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have worked with every single one of the women in my [FBPP] journey. I hope to only grow in myself as I move forward.”

“I purchased [FBPP] because I wanted to learn more about intuitive eating. The content that was contained in Victoria's course WAY outshined anything I ever thought I'd learn. The videos were professional and informative. The PDF support documents were incredibly intuitive and helpful. But by FAR, my favorite thing was joining the support group and learning and growing alongside other participants. I loved meeting weekly in a zoom group call with these incredibly powerful and vulnerable women. Overall, the support that Victoria offered was professional, informative and incredibly authentic. I would HIGHLY recommend [FBPP] to anyone interested in learning more about intuitive eating and needing support along the way in their journey with nutrition. The information is invaluable!”
