Today’s episode is to briefly share what can happen to your weight as you enter into intuitive eating, but the main purpose of this episode is to walk you through the many emotions involved with the desire to change our bodies and lose weight. Let’s start by sharing WHY any information that tells you you can intentionally lose weight is NOT intuitive eating and health at every size aligned.

The very first principle of intuitive eating is to reject the diet mentality. As you read this chapter in the intuitive eating book or workbook, or work through online courses or one on one support to learn this principle, you’ll learn this about the diet mentality:

“If you allow even one small hope to linger that a new and better diet might be lurking around the corner, it will prevent you from being free to rediscover Intuitive Eating.”

If someone is telling you to intentionally  to lose weight and still eat intuitively, or this is your own personal intention, you won’t be able to tap fully into intuitive eating.
